A bounded unity between two lovers.
From the roots of the Earth through their bodies rising to create the forever intertwining essence that is the Tree of Life. As their energies combine, their spirit, Neshama, is lifted to the heavens. Both stand in powerful warrior Yoga poses. The woman extends her arms in a ‘V’ form that welcomes the victory of spirit upon her body, while the man stands in an uprising position which signifies strength, organic energy from within,
and radiant inner peace. Together they encase the very meaning of life itself, to live as individuals and united forever growing stronger.
By combining forces, they both discover the warrior energy in each other, and in themselves.

The verse that is incorporated at the bottom of the Ketubah text:
“From every human being there rises a light that reaches straight to heaven
and when two souls that are destined to be together find each other,
their streams of light flow together and a single brighter light goes forth
from their united being” (Ba’al Shem Tov)
