A place of legend, romance and myth. One of the world’s seven greatest natural wonders, Victoria Falls is also described by the Kololo tribe living in the area in the 1800’s as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ meaning ‘the Smoke that Thunders.’ The greatest curtain of falling water, sprays the wide basalt cliff over which the falls thunder, and mist clouds that are always rising from the depth of the gorge, creating an enchanted scenery of mist and rainbows.
